School is almost over! This means I'll be free to work on several priojects this summer. I'm trying to organize an art show at some point in the near future and therefor will be producing as many pieces as I can this summer. In more curent news the Friday the 13th Slaughter Fest is happening this week. My band Friends of Foes will be playing as well as Purple Zebra and a mix of other artists. The show is going to be awesome and I hope everyone who heard of facebook will be able to make it. I've been told that the Snow Ghost will make an appearance so you know it has to be good. Pictures and possible video will be added from the show in the next week.
Not Getting A Haircut
I have been told numerous times in the past week or so that my hair is way to long and I need to get it cut. I have also been told get my hair out of my eyes. Honestly I don't think my hair is long enough. And why does it matter if my hair is in my eyes? I truly see no point to pursuing either of those two requests. My hair is mine and I can leave it as long as I want. The picture is terrible but it gives an idea of my hair length. Also I'm wearing an FYC shirt for any who knows what that is.
Friends of Foes
This post doesn't really have to do with my art or at least not in the form that most people would expect. Friends of Foes is the band I've been in for the past few months. we are a punk screamo band and have done a few local shows including one at the Palladium. I do vocals for the band along with Matt. We also have Joe on drums, and Gabe and Jonathan on guitar. I have done a few art projects to promote the band which are the images in this post. The skeleton and the paper shredder are our two shirt designs and the image with the three animals is the banner we use at shows We are pretty much always looking for more shows to play in so if anyone has a gig please let me know.
Sad Guys
This is a series I did a while ago but am only now adding to this blog. There are 7 Sad Guys in total and a few of them are shown here. They are all based off two original design and follow the same pattern. My personal favorite is the one entitled Mental Patient and the picture on this blog is of the larger version that I painted on my door.The only real similarities in the series is the form of the subject and the fact that they are all crying. Other then that I tried to keep the Sad Guys as different as possible. They are entitled (from top left to right) Frankenstein, The Beauty, Mental Patient, and Eye Candy.
Summer... YES!
The school year is over! Finally a chance to get back into some art stuff. My plans for this summer are to work on the upcoming zombie movie Asa, Keenan, and I are making. Produce at least one new comic. And work on my pieces for an art show at some point. Hope everyone has as awesome a super as mine is going to be!
Picture Day
I hated picture day. It was the wost. I now am not photo genetic. I hate it when people put my picture places and put it places without telling me. In general I just don't like pictures. One of my friends said this is the best picture of me. I don't no if I agree but It is pretty funny.
Iranian Web Comic
A recent web comic about the 2009 election in Iran has been given a lot of coverage lately. The comic is called Zahra's Paradise and is about the search for Medhi, a man who went missing during the election protests. This one is called "Hands from Hades" and actually is kind of an old piece. I used it at my show at F.Y.C.

Movie Screening
The movie is done! We finally finished it after about a year of work. It will be showing at Asa's house at 7PM on April 19th. If you need directions or additional information talk to me via email or facebook. Hope you enjoy it!
Movie ending
we are official almost done filming the bank robbery movie and will be screening it some time next month. Our last filming shoot is this weekend and that's it. As soon as we set a date I will be posting updates on when and where it will be shown. Also if anyone is interested in being a part of our next film. The zombie movie will be starting for real in May and filming will go on this summer. Hope you enjoy it!

Just Another Day
Hello everyone! I finally finish my new comic! "Just Another Day" was sold at StART on the Street last Sunday and will also be at That's Entertainment and FYC within a few day. A word of warning this is a more serious comic and I would recommend it for reader 14 and up. On another note StART was great this year! Thank you all for coming and supporting the local artist and I hope to see you at StART at the Station in December. The FYC art show was also a big hit. I heard that Bone Zone and Pillow Man were both preforming there and that John Guida was showing some of his art. If anyone wants to see the art at FYC most of it is still up and you can go down there anytime. One last thing Bolts #2 is under construction and I hope to have it done in a month or so. That's Entertainment
Short Fuse has finally reached That's E! I'm currently selling Peace Man 1 and 2 there and hope to get others there soon. I am working on a new comic that should be coming out in a few weeks. It will be called "Just Another Day" and will be a slightly more serious series than my previous comics. Don't worry though! This does not mean all my comics will be following the same style of this new series. Bolts 2 should be out in about a month and a half and Anger Man 3 will be up next. Also I will be posting some more of my art within the next few weeks so look out for that. On an unrelated note, this is the website for a claymation video I did in the Fall of 08. Enjoy!

Farmers Market

New Venue
Attention all fans, I'm going to be selling my comics at the Main South Farmers Market. It's is located at the corner of Benefit street and Main and will be happening on Saturdays 10-2. The first one is on June 6th and they will continue every week after that until October. I will have my comics there on June 6th and if I get enough business I will continue selling every week. Issues I hope to have there are as follows Anger-Man 1&2, Peace-Man 1&2, Bolts 1, and maybe one other short one. I hope to see you there!
